For this project I looked for inspiration in my country and in everything it represents for me. Brazil is known to be a place where cultures, ethnicities, origins, tastes and colours are mixed together creating a new unit. It’s a place where miscegenation isn’t seen as detrimental and negative, but as a characteristic for cultural development. As my country, I’m multiethnic.
I plan to show in this T-shirt, a little bit what I am and what I want. If taken separately, each shape and colour of the pattern can be interpreted according to the imagination of people who look at it. However, as a whole, people can understand who I am and where I came from. I’m a mixture of different tribes and races joined together which formed a new nation.

I like the idea and the expression. Other nations have the same kind of multi-ethnic origin, so the context, although coming from one reality, may well apply to several places. It is very international. And it also brings a concept of tolerance to the different, as we are, at the end, all part of a whole!!! Diversity is strength and therefore comes back to unity.

I love the colors and the fluidity of the lines, color, hair, clothes. It is very light and airy. I appreciate “la descarada” ie. faceless woman, she can be anyone, from anywhere. That lack of specifics or detail to the face juxtaposed to the beautiful detailed top is very striking. I would love to see more of your work and that which is to come!
